Safety Information
Our DIY kits contain handcrafted plaster pieces, paint, and paintbrushes. For the safest experience:
- Adult supervision is recommended.
- Not recommended for children under 3 years of age.
- Plaster pieces are not toys and are intended for painting and decorative use only.
- Do not eat or ingest paint, plaster, or any components of the kit.
- Small pieces or components may present a choking hazard.
- Do not allow children to place paintbrushes, plaster pieces, or paint containers in their mouths.
- Wash hands after painting and protect clothing and work surfaces before beginning.
- Discontinue use of any component that becomes broken or damaged.
About Our Paint
Paint included with our kits is selected for craft use and is labeled non-toxic by the manufacturer. Paint is portioned into individual containers by The Sassy Clay Co. for inclusion in our DIY kits.
Paint colors may vary slightly from kit to kit.
About Our Plaster Pieces
Each plaster piece is hand-poured, so small bubbles, texture variations, or other minor imperfections may occur. These little differences are part of the handmade nature of our products and make every piece unique.
Plaster can break if dropped or handled roughly, so please handle finished creations with care.
Caring for Your Finished Creation
Allow your painted piece to dry completely before handling or displaying it. Finished plaster pieces are intended for indoor decorative use unless they have been properly sealed for another purpose.
To clean, gently dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking or washing the plaster with water.
